Meet the Artist

COLORADO WEDDING FILMMAKER & Documentarian

The Documentarian’s Eye

I don’t direct the moment. I anticipate it.

Hi, I’m Tatiana. I am the filmmaker and lead creative behind Voir by Tatiana. In an industry focused on trends, I rely on the timeless principles of cinematic storytelling. I believe your wedding is a raw, organic masterpiece, not a production set. My role is to observe with intensity, capturing the feelings you didn’t even know were happening.

  • The Professional Difference.

My approach is grounded in a Film Production degree and a career that began in 2016. Unlike standard videographers, my workflow is influenced by the rigorous standards of premium network television (STARZ).  As a professional Preditor, my background is defined by technical precision and high-pressure delivery. I understand that a professional film requires more than just creativity—it requires discipline. I bring that broadcast-level quality control to your wedding film. While others might overlook audio crackles or color inconsistencies, I apply a network standard to your memories, ensuring the final film is polished, technically flawless, and stands the test of time.

  • Cinematic Flow & Narrative Depth.

I believe the best films are a blend of candid observation and editorial guidance. I work hand-in-hand with your photographer to transform static poses into cinematic movement. I won’t ask you to perform fake scenes, but I will guide you into the best light and encourage natural motion—letting the wind catch your dress or capturing the quiet breath between kisses. It is a collaboration that feels effortless but looks cinematic.

  • The Power of the Spoken Word.

A wedding film without a story is just a music video. To truly capture the depth of your connection, I often conduct short, intimate interviews with my couples. These relaxed, unscripted conversations become the narrative heartbeat of your film, allowing us to weave your voices and your vows into a story that is uniquely yours. You will notice that my collections begin at a minimum of 8 minutes. This is a deliberate artistic choice. Through my experience, I have found that anything shorter simply does not allow the space required to weave a true narrative. To honor your story, I need the time to tell it fully, without rushing the emotion or cutting the heart out of the message.

My Recommendation: While 8 minutes is the standard, I highly recommend the 12-minute collection. I understand this is a greater investment, but those extra minutes provide the nuance and depth that turn a recording into a legacy.

The Vision

As a working professional in the wedding industry, I navigate events of all sizes and budgets. I understand that large, national agencies serve a purpose: they provide affordable coverage for couples who simply need a record of the day.

However, I built Voir by Tatiana for the couples who want more than just “coverage.”

The Reality of the Volume Model I have freelanced for many major wedding production companies, and I have seen firsthand how the “assembly line” operates. Their business model relies on volume—booking thousands of dates to generate revenue. In that environment, the goal is efficiency, not artistry. I have watched unique, intimate moments get lost in bulk-editing centers because the process is designed for speed, not sentiment.

The Voir Distinction: Art Over Algorithms I refuse to treat your wedding like a statistic.

  • A Boutique Experience: I am not a production machine. I strictly limit the number of cinematic wedding films I commission each year. This isn’t about scaling up to make millions; it’s about slowing down to create something intimate.

  • Uncompromised Quality: I personally oversee the entire post-production workflow. Whether I am editing the film myself or directing a specialized video editor, I ensure that the narrative depth and technical standards meet my vision.

If you are looking for a standard video package, the big agencies are there for you. But if you are looking to invest in a handcrafted heirloom that honors the true weight of your connection, then you belong here.

the voir couple

My work is not just about operating a camera; it is about holding space for your memories. Because I approach every wedding as a custom cinematic production, I cannot serve every couple. My studio is a sanctuary for those who view their wedding film not as “content,” but as a family heirloom.

We are a perfect match if this resonates with you:

  • You seek the “Real” over the “Perfect.” You are the couple who embraces the unscripted nature of life. You understand that the most beautiful moments in candid wedding cinematography often happen in the imperfections. You are willing to let the wind mess up your hair, let the rain catch the hem of your dress, or let a tear fall without wiping it away. You prioritize being present in the moment over posing for it. You trust me to capture the raw, organic beauty of your day without interrupting the flow of your experience.
  • You value Sound as the Soul of Cinema. You believe, as I do, that a film is nothing without its heartbeat. You understand that the tremble in a voice during vows, the deep breath before a first look, or the laughter of a grandparent during a toast are just as powerful as the visuals. You are commissioning a narrative filmmaker because you want those voices preserved forever—woven into a story that brings you back to exactly how it felt, not just how it looked.
  • You are investing in a Legacy, not a Trend. We live in a world of fast content, but you are looking for something timeless. You aren’t interested in a 60-second clip designed for an algorithm; you want a feature-length film that allows your story to breathe. You understand that true storytelling requires time and patience. You are ready to invest in a handcrafted heirloom that will sit on the shelf next to your parents’ photo albums, ready to be watched by generations who haven’t even been born yet.
  • You trust the Artist completely. You are not hiring a vendor to check a box; you are commissioning a creative partner. You value my background as a professional Preditor and my experience in high-end broadcast television. Because of this trust, you are willing to let go of the “shot list” and the Pinterest boards. You give me the creative freedom to observe with intensity, allowing me to find the quiet, fleeting miracles that you didn’t even know were happening.

Off duty

The human behind the camera.

The Roots : I was born in Panama at 3:00 AM. I carry that energy with me—I’m a morning person, but I can pull the late-night shift when the edit demands it. My friends describe me as honest and truthful, and that is exactly how I approach my art. No filters, just the real story.

My World: When I put the camera down, my focus shifts to my own family. I am a wife, a dog mom, and currently preparing for my biggest role yet: mother to a baby girl. My love language is Physical Touch, which translates directly into my work. I understand the power of a hand on a shoulder or a quiet embrace, and I know how to capture those moments because they are the ones I value most in my own life.

How I Recharge: I’m not about complicated luxuries. My peace comes from a clean house, the scent of burning incense, and a good beer with friends after a long hike. Whether I’m reading a book on the beach or dancing at a pool party, I believe in living a full, vibrant life so I can bring that energy back to your film.

Chasing time: I cry at almost every wedding—especially when I see grandparents. I lost my Great-Grandmother when I was five, and I never got to say goodbye. I know that life is ephemeral. We are here today, and maybe not tomorrow. I film because I want you to have what I wish I had: a way to hit pause on time and keep the people you love with you forever.

Your wedding isn’t just a day—it’s a dance of connection, laughter, and pure magic. But my lens looks beyond the present moment. We are creating this film for you today, but really, we are creating it for your grandchildren 50 years from now. I want them to watch this and see you—not just how you looked, but the electric energy of the love that started it all. I bring the deep reverence, the cinematic eye, and the industry experience. You simply bring the love.
